Hello Everyone! You saw a picture of me and my boyfriend a couple posts back, well now he is my fiance! We took a trip down to Vegas to see my family and get him acquainted with everyone. He went to ask my dad for his blessing to ask for my hand in marriage (after taking several false alarm walks down the hall to talk to him) After over an hour of my dad "getting to know him" I sent my sister Eliza to go save him.... not that dad is mean or anything but because I KNOW Mike was so nervous and I didn't want him to be in there very much longer sweating bullets! Right when they were done I dragged Mike on a car ride in order for him to tell me every detail. He didn't tell me much so either they talked really really slow to fill that hour and a half or he was so nervous he couldn't remember the whole conversation. I am guessing option B. Anyway, after our drive we went and sat on the porch swing where he asked me to be his wife! Isn't he so hot in every way! Seriously he is though. I don't mean to sound all sappy or whatever but he is perfect in every way! I think the thing Zach likes about him the most is that he plays catch phrase. Anyway. The ring had to get sized and everything but I got it last night and it was so awesome and the prettiest ring ever. He did an awesome job picking it out! He got down on one knee and it was perfect! Then his mom and I were texting each other until a little after midnight! She is a party animal, and I like her. She is nice. My new name will be Audrey Diane Findarle. Cool huh?

Mrs. Flinder Flander. It has a nice ring to it. Get it, ring? I am punny. Well congratulations. I for one am very excited about this development. I like Flinder Flander a lot.
I don't get Eliza's comment. I looked up Flinder Flander on google and the first result was Eliza's comment on this blog.
Awesome news, though. I like that Mike plays catchphrase, but my favorite thing about him is that he makes you happy.
Zach, Eliza could never remember Mike's last name, she asked his last name all the time and asked if it was flinder flander. So that nickname has kind of just stuck ok?
I like Flinder Flander too, although I CAN remember his name and the ring is BEAUTIFUL. Could this new hobby have something to do with some twine and a tackle box?

Congratulations! I can't wait to meet him. I guess the wedding day will have to do. I like the ring and I like you. Your hair is long and hot.
One more thing- you really need to change the date on your camera's time stamp.
Finally you found someone on the same level of HOTTNESS as you! I am so proud. You done good. I can't wait to meet him. I have heard nothing but greatness. Ps he is buff! Can I say that outloud? hehe
Wow! Its good you finally posted pictures other than yourself.. well I guess you are included in these. Nice.. I am glad you will be Audrey (please say in 24 accent) Findarle. It makes me very happy. Thats all I got
I remember when Uncle Dave and I sat in a room for an hour and a half. People wondered what we were doing in there the whole time as well. Few people know what a great crocheter (read croshayer for Audge...) Dave really is. He was teaching me some new patterns and how to make the corners rounded. We ended up making a couple of doileys and one afghan! I can only hope Mike got the same treatment as I.
From grandma,
I want to know how come I'm the last to know? I'm always the last one to comment.
However, you guys who haven't met Mike are out...I HAVE MET HIM! Yes, he is a really nice guy. I'm wishing (praying) them both a good life ahead. Grandmas do that you know...they pray for grandchildren!
PS did you get engaged Oct 30 and now just telling everyone? Thats what the date on your pictures say!
Your ring is GORGEOUS!!!
Yay!!!!
YOU'RE ENGAGED!
Congrats!!! I am so excited for you. It is fun to read about what is going on in your life. From your old Young Women's Leader ... "I really do love you!".
Love,
Tami ~
