It only took me a month...

Hi. Sorry OK?? My life is boring and I don't want to bore all of you with the details of it. I have been tagged and so I guess I will do that now.

1. I am very OCD. If I am taking a message for someone at work on a post it note, sometimes I have to rewrite it like 4 times. My trash can is always full of crumpled up post it notes because it just doesn't look right the first few times! I count my steps and and my steps have rhythm. I can't walk off beat or it really bugs me. My volume on the TV, CD player, car radio or anything with countable volume, has to be on an odd number. I HATE even numbers. They think they are so much better than odd numbers just because they are paired up evenly. Well the odd numbers always have more fun! Also I spell words out in my head when someone is talking to me. I don't know if this is to see if I can spell as fast as people can talk or if it is to see if I can spell the words people are saying. I guess both ways are educational. I was telling my dad about this obsessive behavior once and he told me that he counted steps too sometimes. He even told me how many stairs were in our house. It was funny. I also wash my hands A LOT. Sometimes I feel like the germs just are there teasing me. If I touch a shopping cart I don't want to move my hands because I feel like I will get a whole new set of germs and I feel like the bar from the cart just left a strip of germs right there and it won't go away until I scrub or sanitize or both. When I lock my car from my key chain locker thing I have to make it beep an odd number of times too but more than 1. So it usually ends up beeping 3 times but if I accidentally hit it 4 times I have to do it again. It is annoying. I will stop now so I still have friends.

2. I am a very picky eater. I will not let my food touch each other on my plate. I even have gone as far as taking a paper towel and wiping my ranch or gravy off my plate before I put something else there. People say it all goes to the same place so why does it matter? I know where it all ends up and I don't care where it ends up. The important thing to me about eating is how it tastes going down. I really love pickles and I really love ice cream. I also really like peanut butter but even though it all ends up in the same place it wouldn't be very appetizing mixed together now would it? I am not very good at trying new things. If I smell it and it doesn't smell good I won't eat it. I smelled cheesecake as a child and thought it smelled repulsing. So I never tried it until about a month ago. It is so good. That was one of the only good examples of me trying a new thing and liking it. I usually don't. I tried eggnog for the first time a couple weeks ago and hated it. The texture, taste and color of it was disgusting! I don't eat pork because it is all disgusting. Sometimes ham if it is disguised or pepperoni but sausage, bacon, or anything else pork is yucky.

3. I refuse to share Milk with anyone. Any dairy product really. It is so revolting. I will share any other drink with people I like that don't have diseases but NEVER milk. And I find it nauseating when parents eat cereal or any kind of food after their kids. It makes me gag. You don't know what their grubby hands have been into before they plunged them into their food.

4. I still have my baby blanky. I sleep with it often. Not every night but often. I love it. It is so cute and in much better shape than Jacob's blanky. It is my security blanky. I also have a security superman pillow and spider man blanket.

5. I am a Rock star. I play the drums in an awesome band. I also can tear it up on the guitar. I do vocals sometimes and do pretty well. Oh I forgot to mention that it is on the X-box and it is called rock band, but I am still a rock star. I am addicted to that game!

6. I am the tallest girl in my family. It took Eliza a couple years to accept the fact that I was even though I was looking down to talk to her and the measurement board we have in our house told her! I still like her and I am glad she is the runner up. I keep growing I think. I used to be 5'9 then 5'10 and now a little more than that I think. When I wear heels I can get up to like 6'3!!!

7. I have a serious case of BCS. I think those of you in my family know what I am talking about but BCS stands for butt crack syndrome. No matter what I am wearing my bum hangs out when I bend over. I have tried belts and my sweet mother thinks my pants are too low which may be the case sometimes but not all the time. I think my crack starts right at the same level as my pits. Sorry if this offends any of you but it is true and it is a big part of my life. I think even when I wear a body suit or overalls it shows. I know it sounds impossible but somehow it finds its way to the surface. It just needs some air ya know?

That is me in a nutshell. A very big nutshell! Hey how did I get in this nutshell.... Have you ever seen a nutshell this size?!?

Thanks for reading and I am not going to tag anyone because everyone that reads this has been tagged plus I hope this cycle ends soon! I love you all and I will try to be more religious in writing in my blog! (even though my therapist always tells me trying is lying and he also says do or do not there is no try...he is smart) Happy holidays!! (just in case I do not succeed in writing)

2 things...1. I didn't get tagged, so don't tell anyone about my blanky. It is in worse shape because of how old it is, just wait another couple of years and see how good yours looks. 2. "Do or do not, there is no try" comes from Yoda, your therapist just ripped it off.

I love you. And your blog.

Bye Bye

Four things: First, you are the only member of our immediate family who was born in an even year. If you count extended family, then it is you and Adam and Bridger. Isn't that odd?

Second, I haven't laughed at a blog like this one forever. Literally. No post has ever made me laugh that hard.

Third, your first one was like six.

Fourth, Jacob said what I was going to say about Yoda.

Audrey, that was a very good post. I wish I hadn't been forced to wait a month for it but it was worth it. I was also going to tell you that the quote came from Yoda but Zach and Jacob already did. My favorite part was the overall bcs part. You forgot to credit me for the ideas I came up with for your blog. Side note- Jacob, get a blog! You too, Mom and Michael!

I am not saying that he made it up kids..... I think my exact words were...my therapist always tells me... now does that sound like I said he invented the phrase or something?? NO!

The butt crack starting at your pits made me wet my pants a little. You're funny and nice.

The bcs paragraph made me laugh out loud. I don't know if it was a stage 3 or 4 but it was audible.

For someone that likes odd numbers, I question why you would use six (an even number) examples in item one. Why not five or seven? It makes me wonder whether you have made up the whole OCD thing.

I have often wondered why you stare blankly at me when we are having a conversation. Then suddenly it is like the light turns on and you usually say something like "Great work Audge, you spelled another one right!!" When I ask what you are talking about, you say simply "aw nothin".

I give this blog two thumbs up, fine holiday fun.

I want everyone to know that #1 is actually 7 examples.... not 6 (dad and zach) counting my steps and having to walk in a beat or with rhythm is 2 different things!

Now that you have your own computer and access to the internet 24/7 you could maybe update your blog a little more often. I'm just sayin'.....
